Jesus said one thing is necessary:

"Mary... sat at Jesus' feet, and heard his word... Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken away from her." (Luke 10)

We meet each week to worship God -- the God who created us and the God who has saved us. We are committed to reformed worship, expository preaching, congregational prayer, and the sacraments. Out of this flow ministries of discipleship, fellowship, service, outreach, evangelism, and world missions.

Who we are

"Fornicators, idolaters, adulterers, sexually immoral, thieves, covetous, drunkards, revilers, and extortioners... And such were some of us. But we were washed, we were sanctified, we were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God. But now in Christ Jesus we who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ." (1 Cor. 6:9ff.)

Contrary to common belief, the church is not a building. Neither is it a group of people who are "better than you." The Bible tells us that we are all sinners; the church is comprised of sinners who have been forgiven and delivered from their sins by Jesus Christ.

Our beliefs

Our congregation is part of the Christian Church. Our beliefs are determined by the Bible. The elders at Immanuel Presbyterian Church subscribe to the Westminster Confession of Faith and Catechisms, documents which summarize Biblical doctrine in a unified and carefully constructed statement of faith. We are a congregation of the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA).

Our pastor

William Harrell is the founding pastor at Immanuel Presbyterian Church. In 1981, he and his wife Debra were called to serve the new congregation, then meeting at the YMCA. For nearly 40 years, "Pastor Bill" has faithfully served the flock in preaching, teaching, and pastoring.

We are meeting in-person and virtually on Sunday mornings. Sunday PM and Wednesday meetings are virtual.. Contact us below for links to our virtual Wednesday and Sunday meeting.
